What do you do to unwind from a hectic week of non-stop work? Hopefully, you take advantage of a beautiful day and spend some time outside! And if you are a car enthusiast (that’s why you’re here, right? 🙂 ), you head out for a drive!
Let’s join this “Dynamic Duo” for a highway cruise! A matte gray LP560 and a black Gallardo go for a highway cruise on a nice, sunny day. Listen to the LP560’s RSC exhaust and the Gallardo’s Fabspeed exhaust as they sing along the highway! 😉
So, what is your favorite musical duet?…
“Men In Black” Cruise: Sometimes you just have to get away!
Medicine is stressful. Sometimes you just have to get away, right? After all those surgeries, procedures, admissions, unscheduled visits, lack of reimbursements, brutal on-call schedules, and on and on…it’s time for a break!
Enter the “Men In Black”. They are here to help you. 😉
Here is a blacked-out Audi R8 and a black Lamborghini Gallardo heading out for a cruise…luckily, no extra-terrestrial aliens were encountered during the cruise – although, it would’ve been no big deal for the Men In Black!
Tony Stark (aka “Iron Man”) was on hand as well, driving the R8…as the owner of Stark Industries, he would’ve had a few suprises up his sleeve for any aliens as well. 😉
So…which movie did you like better? “Men In Black” or “Iron Man”?…
Proper Hygeine for your Car: Let’s Head to the Car Wash!
As we mentioned before, if you are a car enthusiast, washing your car is a regular ritual. It’s like taking regular showers and brushing and flossing your teeth. It’s all about proper hygeine! 😉
Here’s a Lamborghini Gallardo heading to the showers for a quick cleansing and decontamination.
A V10 bull needs a bath every now and then, no? When you’re an Italian bull roaming through the countryside and running all the time (those Spanish bulls in Pamplona have it easy…they only run once a year!), you gotta head to the showers from time to time!
So, how often do you wash your car?…
Ford Rat Rod: Your neighbors will LOVE you!

Here’s a Ford Rat Rod waking up the whole neighborhood on a cold, winter morning! This thing is LOUD! Sounds like a Harley!…

2012 Mercedes SLS AMG Roadster: The Perfect Doctor’s Car?
Let’s admit it. There are many physicians who drive some version of a Mercedes back and forth to work, whether it’s a classic Mercedes 4-door sedan (C-Class, E-Class, S-Class); a sportier 2-door coupe or roadster/convertible (CL-Class, SLK-Class, SL-Class); the ubiquitous “off-road” family grocery-getter/hauler SUVs (G-Class, GL-Class, GLK-Class, M-Class); or even the “environmentally-friendly” hybrid versions (CLS-Class, R-Class). Sheesh, that’s a LOT of CLASSES! But hey, you’re a doctor, so by definition, you are familiar with the concept of multiple classes…after all, you spent millions of hours studying for all of your high school classes, college classes, medical school classes, and all those board review classes to obtain/renew your board certification(s). 😉
Now that you are a successful, hard-working physician, maybe it’s time to treat yourself to another class of Mercedes?…perhaps the ULTIMATE CLASS of the famed German marque…the SLS-Class. 🙂
Introducing the 2012 Mercedes SLS AMG Roadster, a car that might just be the perfect doctor’s car.
With its 6.2 Liter V8 engine making 563 hp and 479 lb-ft of torque, you will never be late to the hospital again. This car will get you there fast (0-60 mph in 3.7 seconds, top speed of 197 mph). And with its classy, clean, and sharp styling, your colleagues will want to know more about this “Benz” when you pull into the office parking lot. Actually, your co-workers will HEAR you before they SEE you, as the characteristic AMG exhaust sound will announce your arrival in classic AMG-style: loud, aggressive, yet pleasant and inviting to the ears.
And unlike the coupe version of this car, you can drop the top on this version and really enjoy the drive home from work. Just turn off the radio and enjoy that AMG exhaust music…as you reward yourself for a hard day’s work. 🙂
Having trouble picturing this kind of driving nirvana? No problem…we’ll help you out. Here’s a 2012 Mercedes SLS AMG Roadster dressed up with an Imola Grey exterior, black top, red interior, and red brake calipers…

So, in summary, if you happen to have around $200,000 USD in your pocket, you can enjoy the perfect doctor’s car, too. Hey, we know perfection is difficult to achieve…we never said it would be EASY!… 😛
An Italian and German Opera: The Three Tenors (Video #100 Special!)
Many physicians enjoy the cultural arts and have an appreciation for things such as the theater, fine art, the opera, and the occasional symphony, right? 🙂
If you are an opera fan, you know you have witnessed something special if you are fortunate to have heard any of the famed “Three Tenors” – namely Luciano Pavarotti, Placido Domingo, or Jose Carreras.
Well, here’s a treat for you: an “opera” of a different kind, straight out of Italy and Germany – two countries known for famous opera composers. Well, these two countries also happen to be known for producing some of the world’s best exotic sports cars, too. And when you hear that operatic engine music, you know you’re hearing a musical masterpiece that rivals that of the world’s best composers…hey, if you like cars, you KNOW we ain’t messing around when we say THAT! 😛
So to celebrate Video #100 at CarScrubs.com, here’s a “Daily Lunch Special” for you! 🙂
A trio of exotics head out to grab some lunch: a blacked-out Ferrari F430 with a Capristo exhaust, a blacked-out Audi R8 V8 with a Stasis Engineering exhaust, and a black Lamborghini Gallardo with a Fabspeed Supersport exhaust.
Listen to the “3 tenors” as they sing along the highway! Luciano Pavarotti would be proud! 😉
So, which car would you drive to lunch?…Ferrari?…R8?…Lamborghini?…
Let’s Head to the Auto Parts Store!
All car enthusiasts have to make a run to the auto parts store every once in a while, right? It’s like going to the convenience store to pick up a gallon of milk or buy that winning lottery ticket. 😉
The bigger auto parts stores are like grocery stores for your automotive needs. You can pick up a few quarts of your favorite oil, buy a new battery for your car, buy new tools to wrench on your latest car project, pick up various detailing/car wash supplies, find new tires for your ride, and even pick up a few munchies while you’re at it (Gatorade, Snickers, water, etc. – no filet mignon, though).
So let’s follow a crimson-and-white Dodge Viper, black Audi R8, and black Lamborghini Gallardo and head to the auto parts store to pick up some automotive goodies!
So, what do you usually buy at your local auto parts store?…

So let’s head to Starbucks for a coffee run!
So, what do you typically order at Starbucks?…
